Boise National Forest is warning campers for Memorial Day weekend.

The snowpack in the higher elevations have clogged up a lot of the trails, roads, and campgrounds above 7,000 feet.  Please contact the Ranger District Offices for conditions on roads and facilities.

Bring heavy coats and warm clothing for snowy areas.  Lower level camping still gets cool as well so be prepared.  Almost all camp sites below 7,000 feet are open and ready to go although parts of the Boise National Forest will be closed due to helicopter training for medical teams.
