Shooting in Meridian

A random shooting in Meridian has police investigating the situation. 

It happened this afternoon at about 2:15 p.m. Both victims were adult men. One was shot in the abdomen and the other was superficially shot in the hand.

Police are investigating, but according to initial reports on KTVB, the shooting does not seem intentional.

Luckily, both injuries are not life threatening. Police responded to the scene along Locust Grove and Ionia Street and they say they will continue to investigate what led to the shooting.
