A semi overturned on Highway 20 this morning sending two people to the hospital.

Things went bad at mile marker 124 just before 9:30 a.m.  This is the section between Mountain Home and Fairfield in the Castle Rocks area.  A woman was driving west in the semi-truck and lost control.  The semi then slammed into a concrete guardrail before rolling over.

The trailer kept rolling over the embankment, spilling it's contents of peat moss.  The driver was then taken by helicopter to St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Boise.  There was a man in the passenger seat who took an ambulance to the hospital.  Speed is believed to be a factor in the wreck and the Elmore County Sherifff's Office is investigating.

Names and details of those injured have not been released.
