Rick and Carly’s Kids: Meet Addyson

How cute is she?!?!!! Oh how we instantly fell in love with 3 year old Addyson! She's our "Rick and Carly's Kid" for April! Here is her story. 

Addyson's Mom, Ashley noticed something was not quite right when her daughter was about 5 months old. She didn't seem to be digesting her food right, so of course mom took her into the doctor.

Turns out Addyson has cystic fibrosis. It's a life-changing diagnosis. Addyson has to take medicine before she eats ANYTHING. She's more prone to getting sick, her body fills with mucus, and right now the life expectancy for someone with cystic fibrosis is 40-50 years old. Mom's days are filled with doctor visits and treatments for Addyson.

Luckily this little tyke has got a big personality and a lot of spunk!
