California, Hawaii, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and a whole lot more are here in our backyard fighting it out for Region Championships.

Every year the Best of the Best play for all the marbles.  Youth Soccer State Champions from the 14 different states that make up the Far West Regional League play for the ultimate prize... Region Champs, and a ticket to Nationals.

If you've noticed hotels a bit fuller, restaurants a bit more crowded, and a lot of soccer families hanging around... it's because thousands of kids from around the country are here, in our backyard, playing for a region championship.  They're playing at the Simplot Fields in Boise.

There's eight different age groups on both the boys and girls side.  That's sixteen champions that'll be crowned Sunday afternoon.

So how's Idaho doing?  Quarterfinals are going on today.  We have just three teams that made it into the knock out rounds and two teams that are still alive.

U16 Girls - BNSC Premier (In Quarter-finals)

U18 Girls - FC Nova  (In Semi-finals)

U18 Boys - Idaho Rush Premier  (Quarter-finalist)
