Monday, August 7th, you can honor and celebrate recipients of the Purple Heart Medal.
It's your chance to honor those who have served our country.

The steps of the Idaho State Capitol building will be the site for this special ceremony. Recipients of the Purple Heart will be honored and celebrated by family and friends, citizens and several city, state and area officlals and dignitaries.

The ceremony begins Monday, August 7th (National Purple Heart Day) at 10:00 am. The state of Idaho will also be proclaimed a Purple Heart State during the ceremony.

The ceremony is open to the public and will also include guest speakers like Senator Marv Hagedorn (District 14), as well as performances from the Singing Mayors and Diana Titus.
