Potato Pest Found in Idaho
The 150-acre field has been added to the list of regulated fields.
The microscopic parasite known as pale cyst nematode can reduce potato yield by up to 80%!
According to KTVB, the field found in eastern Idaho has now been added to the pale cyst nematode eradication program, bringing the number of fields in the program to 27.
