A man was killed late last night by ADA County Sheriffs deputies. Here's how it all went down.

KTVB reports A 54 year old Boise man called 911 last night at 10:48 claiming someone was in his home at 10000 W. Spring River Street and then he hung up the line. Dispatchers called the man back and although he put the phone down, he left the line open so dispatchers could hear what was going on.

Deputy's arrived at the man's home moments later and found the door slightly open. They then forced their way inside and started calling for the man who they suspect had made the 911 call.

When deputy's heard someone moving around inside they checked further to see if the man was in danger.

At about this point someone else made a 911 call saying they were worried about the man inside the home. They said he was suicidal and had a gun.

Suspecting the man was on the second floor of the home, deputies called for him up the stairs. When he finally came down he told officers it was "too late" and pointed a gun at them. That's when deputies fired at the man, hitting him twice. Paramedics tried to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one else was found inside the home, no deputies were hurt in the incident, and the mans name has not been released pending the notification of his family.
