Permits to Cut Your Own Christmas Tree On Sale Soon

Looking forward to packing the family into your car and going to cut down your own Christmas tree this year?  Looks like you won't have to wait too much longer.  Permits for the Boise and Payette national forests will go on sale this Saturday the 19th, while permits for the Sawtooth National Forest go on sale on Friday the 18th.

Permits are $10, valid through Christmas Day, and allow one tree each. The Boise and Payette forests allow a total of three permits per family.
