Allegedly this guy stole all sorts of accessories from the Parade of Homes in Caldwell including a front door which he went ahead and put on the front of his house.

45-year-old Troy Hinkle of Boise was arrested Friday and is a suspect in a string of burglaries including the Parade of Homes.

The Caldwell Police investigation over the past month has focused on burglaries at new construction homes and evidence from a home robbed on Middlesboro Way led them to Hinkel.  Hinkle's home in the 200 block of Caldwell was searched and authorities found firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition.  Also, stolen property from the Parade of Homes was either being used and / or found on the premises.

Hinkle is a convicted felon meaning it's illegal for him to possess a firearm so he's currently in the Canyon County Jail on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and probation violation.  Charges on the theft are being investigated and most likely will be implemented soon.

Anyone who's been a victim of recent residential burglary, please contact Sgt. Chris Finley of the Caldwell Police Department at 208-455-4574.
