Operation Haircut for St Jude Kids

Star of HGTV's 'Fixer Upper', Chip Gaines, has gotten a lot of flack for his long locks-which I personally love. So he decided for a little compromise for a great cause.

He put out a little challenge to his fans.

The more that gets donated to St Jude Children's Research Hospital....the shorter his hair gets. He's calling it #OperationHaircut and wrote about the details on he and his wife's 'Magnolia Foundation' website:

So here's the deal: Jo and I are visiting the sweet kids at Target House with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis next week, and we are truly honored just to have the opportunity to meet them. We're so honored, in fact, that I want to do something big to bless these kiddos. Basically...we want to bring them a giant check from YOU. Donate to St. Jude through this page, and the more money we raise through November 5th, the shorter my hair goes. That's a promise. And, who knows, maybe if you really exceed my expectations...I'll buzz it all off.
