A baby girl didn't quite make it to the Ontario Hospital Monday morning and her parents were just along for the ride.

It was just before 7 a.m. on Monday when Channing Williams of Vale and her boyfriend tried as quickly as they could to make it to the hospital.  They almost got there, but almost is just almost.

Right there in the parking lot of the Ontario Hospital they flagged down a nurse who was walking out to her car after her shift and the mayhem began.  Push, breathe, hang in there... all of that is supposed to happen with machines and doctors and loved ones around.  Well... she did have the loved ones.  Williams' mother and sister had been contacted while they were driving to the hospital so they were there, in the parking lot, while the birth of this beautiful baby girl came into the world.

Williams' mother wrapped the new baby in a jacket to keep her warm in the sub-freezing temperatures.  The healthy baby girl weighed in at 8 pounds 2 ounces.
