Many are without a home and it has been confirmed by the Boise Fire Department that one person is dead in an apartment fire in Boise.

The Boise Fire Department received a call at 1:15 yesterday afternoon about a fire that was getting out of control at the Arbor Crossing apartments on West Stoker Lane.  The fire started on the third floor in one of the apartment units where one person lost their life, one firefighter was injured, one person was transported to the hospital, and two adults and one child were treated on site.

The Boise Fire Department were assisted by the Eagle and Meridian Fire Departments.

Several families have had to move out with nowhere to go.  The American Red Cross of Idaho is helping 19 families with the essentials until they can get back on their feet.  Financial help is also coming from the Boise Firefighters Local 149 Burnout fund.

No names have been released at this time.  Please keep all of these people in your prayers.  It's a miserable time to be going through life without your home.
