Oktoberfest Begins

Beer anyone? Old Boise Oktoberfest is this weekend downtown "Old Boise!"

It's that time of the year. Fall is in the air. The colors are starting to change. It gets a little cooler at night and takes a little longer to warm up during the day. It also means Oktoberfests start happening all over the country! Old Boise is no exception, and this Saturday you can enjoy authentic German food and great beer, or bier, all day Saturday!

The Old Boise Oktoberfest is taking place on the streets of Old Boise (6th and Main) from 3 p.m. - 10 p.m. The streets will be closed to traffic and you'll be able to stroll up and down the streets in search of great German food and great beer or bier!

Tickets for the event will cost you $20.00, but that will include your entry into the event, a mug, the option to play games and win gift cards from Old Boise Merchants and one free bier...or...beer...which is it?  I guess as long as you can drink it, it doesn't really matter.
