Have you been to the grocery store lately?  It's a mad dash for food and water and stores are starting to run out of bottled water.

More snow and rain is coming with the true threat now across the Treasure Valley of flooding and power outages.  With so many people stocking up at the same time, stores like WinCo, Albertsons, Zamzows, Costco, Fred Meyer, and more are all running very low on supplies.

Some of the hot items shoppers are reaching for are bread, milk, eggs, meat, generators, propane, blankets, and of course the number one essential... WATER!

Some stores have lines backed clear up through the grocery aisles.

Despite most of these stores ordering five times more than normal, a lot of them are out of snow shovels, ice melt, boots, pants, and a lot of other essentials for this crazy Winter weather we're having.

Probably the scariest essential we're starting to run short on is water.  Whatever's left won't last much longer.  Fortunately Idaho Power says they don't expect any long term power outages and stores are coordinating with other stores across the country for emergency supplies.
