New BSU Scholarship Available

The True Blue Promise can make BSU a possibility!

Boise State University announced yesterday that they will be offering the biggest financial aid package in BSU history to incoming freshmen in 2016.

It's called the True Blue Promise and it offers students who qualify a scholarship of $8000 ($2000 per year). When the True Blue scholarship is added to the maximum Federal Pell Grant, it can cover an incoming freshman's full tuition!

This was created to help students who, without financial assistance, wouldn't attend college.

Now there are some requirements in order to be considered. The student must:

• Be an Idaho resident
• Be eligible for a Federal Pell Grant
• Meet the minimum academic requirements of
  • 3.3 grade point average
  • score at least 25 on the ACT
  • OR 1130 for the SAT.
