Chances are you've heard of the Netflix show about tidying up, right? If you haven't you might soon. Marie Kondo, you see, is a Japanese organizing consultant who wrote the #1 New York Times bestselling book called 'The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up'; and it has been transforming people's lives. Now, her KonMari method of tidying (by category, not location) is taking the country by storm thank to the Netflix original series, 'Tidying Up with Marie Kondo'.

Not only are a ton of people here in Idaho decluttering their homes and embracing the tidy, but they're helping out their neighbors with all those things that no longer 'spark joy'. According to KTVB, St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores here in the Treasure Valley are seeing a "surge of donations"

These donations don't just mean our neighbors get great stuff at great prices. Donations to thrift stores like St. Vincent de Paul, offer people in need some resources like financial assistance for rent, utilities, transportation, and prescriptions, as well as help through their food pantries for folks experiencing some tough times.
