The department is using humor to get an important message out to the community.

According to KTVB, the Nampa Police Department has a new PSA campaign called "9PM Routine".

It's a campaign aimed at having people develop new habits to protect their belongings from theft, like making sure your valuables are out of sight, and your doors are locked up.

The '9PM Routine' started in Pasco County, FL, but our officers here in Nampa decided to have a little fun with it. Using memes and videos, the department has taken a humorous approach on social media to get the word out.
