Nampa Man Impales Woman With Screwdriver

So there's crime... and then there's CRIME!  What was this guy thinking?  He impales a woman??

30-year-old Jared Duren is now behind bars at the Canyon County Jail for stabbing a woman in the leg with a screwdriver at his home on October 2.  I guess he was disassembling a tv mount when the two started arguing, and then it happened.  Duren was so upset during the argument he threw the screwdriver at her and it went straight through her right thigh.

The woman was treated at Primary Health and will be o.k.  Drinking was a factor and Duren has admitted to all charges.  He's currently being held on a $500,000 bond.  His court date is October 20.
