Nampa High School received a golden football today from the NFL honoring alumnus Rob Morris for his academic and athletic excellence.

To celebrate the Super Bowl's golden year, the NFL is sending these balls out to all the high schools that have been a big part of their journey.  Nampa High's Rob Morris was a fullback and linebacker from 1990 - 1993.  Morris went on to play at Brigham Young University before playing 8 years in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts.  Morris was the starting linebacker when the Colts won Super Bowl XLI in 2007 over the Chicago Bears.

Principal Byron Holtry says Nampa High will display this golden ball in the school case for every student to see, and know, that anything can be accomplished.  Dreams come true, and they come true right here at our very own Nampa High School.

Rob Morris will personally present the school's football at the 114th game against Caldwell in September.  A game I'm sure Nampa will be hyped up for.

Congratulations to Rob Morris for a solid, long, productive career... congratulations to Nampa High, and congratulations to all our future stars working hard in High Schools across The Treasure Valley.  Make your mark!
