Nampa Fire Chief’s Crash May Have Been His Fault

Bottom line is Nampa Fire Chief Karl Malott is in serious, bad shape and our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.  But what happened to lead him into this tragic accident?

The Idaho Transportation Department has just released new details which state Malott was speeding and made an improper lane change and was also inattentive in the crash that occurred on September 24.

With that said... we have a man who has loyally served this community for decades who is suffering from severe head injuries.  He, along with his family and close friends are going through a hell that we cannot relate to.  Why or how is not the question for me.  Malott getting back on his feet should be our only focus.  Get well soon Chief Malott!
