Mountain View's Lexy Halladay is only a freshman and is already being mentioned with those who've had great success at the Olympic Games.

She just took 1st place this last weekend running the mile in Boston clocking in at 4:41.80 which is the fastest girls high school time this year.  In the nation!

She also just broke the freshman one mile record which was previously owned by four-time Olympian Mary Becker.  That record has stood since 1973.

Halladay says she's focused on improving her time every single race.  She'll be in Seattle for the Brooks Invitational on June 17.  Good luck Lexy.  Way to represent!
