Mother’s Day Wine

Found out about this little shindig today!

This time of year one of my favorite activities on a sunny weekend Spring day is to hit the Sunny Slope Trail and find a patio to enjoy a class of wine. It's something so simple but the fresh air and glass of wine can be so relaxing and great for the soul.

Today we hit Houston, we grabbed our a favorite glass of wine and struck up conversations with people that were there to enjoy the same patio scene as we were. In these conversations..... "how did my mind not think of this"? We were told about the Mother's Day fun the winery has planned for next weekend. "Of course"! Sunday they are doing a fun catered brunch with a wine release party (unfortunately it's a ticketed event and sold out a long time ago...boo) but on Saturday they are bringing out local musicians and a Hawaiian food truck to kick-off Mother's Day weekend starting at noon on Saturday.

I can only imagine the fun the other wineries in the area are doing, but I'll take live music and food truck any day!
