Moose Enters Hailey Home Through Window

Imagine walking into your basement last night and finding a live moose that weighs hundreds of pounds.  Yeah this boy was big!

The moose fell through a window well of the basement at a home in Hailey, Idaho.  The Blaine County Sheriff's Department came out, snapped a few photos and called the Idaho Department of Fish and Game.

The couch and other furniture you see behind the moose was used to block an entry way to the upstairs of the house.

So why did this happen?  What are moose like this doing around town areas?  All the snow has brought wildlife out into different areas searching for food.  It's as simple as that.
