Missing Idaho Hiker

Search and rescue teams are looking for a missing hiker in the Sawtooth Mountains. 

The man is 65 years old, and his name has not been  he began his trip at the Queens River Trailhead near Atlanta, Idaho and he was suppose to wrap his hike up on June 16th, but he hasn't been seen or heard from since.

According to KTVB the man let his family know he was ok on June 15th. An extensive search has been underway in the Queens River area.

If you have seen a man hiking alone that looks to be around 65 years old, hiking in the Queens River area or along the Pinchot Mountain, Elk Lake, Blacknose Mountain, or Benedict Lake areas between June 13th and today please contact the police at 208-587-2100.
