Meridian Police Looking for Armed Robber

Meridian police are on the hunt for a man who robbed a Meridian Sonic Drive-In with a knife last night. 

It happened about 12:15 am at the Sonic Drive-In in Meridian off Linder Road.

Only one employee was inside the restaurant and was locking up when the man came inside the restaurant with a knife and forced the employee into the back office.

According to KTVB, the robber was wearing a white hoodie, a red bandana, and a black jacket. He walked away with cash and ran southbound on McMillan Road.

Luckily, the employee was not injured in the robbery, but the man is still on the loose.
