Most people wake up to Santa, presents, and lots of cheer Christmas morning.  The Abernathy's woke up to that and something else that would rock their world.

3-year-old Addy Abernathy was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor behind her right eye.  Within a couple weeks Addy went from running around laughing, playing with her brother and sister to a much sadder, serious world.

So quickly this sassy, spunky little girl has been reduced to someone with no energy, nausea, and abdominal pain.  She's fighting hard but the battle has completely changed who she is.

On Christmas Eve mom and dad noticed something wrong with Addy's right eye so they brought her into the emergency room.  The cancer has spread to her nasal cavity and is too risky to do surgery on.  So treatment is chemotherapy and radiation for now.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the Abernathy's through this difficult time.  Addy will receive chemotherapy every three weeks for a year and radiation for the next six weeks.  She'll be treated in Seattle or Salt Lake City depending on the type of radiation needed.
