Massive Crater In The Middle Of Idaho
Nobody knows how deep this crater is. It's roughly the size of a football field and its in the middle of nowhere (near Arco) right here in Idaho.
The exact location is just outside of Moon National Monument and Preserve on the King's Bowl Lava Field. One of nature's wonders that looks like something straight out of a science fiction movie.
1,600 years ago, volcanic fire spewed out in this area forming Craters of the Moon which is what we call it today. In the Spring a spectacular ecosystem creates a landscape like something you'd see in Jurassic Park.
If you can't make it out to see this world wonder, check out this aerial video.
