Massive Beer Can Collection Found in Eagle

What in the world is this?! 11,000 beer cans!

Wednesday is National Beer Can Appreciation Day and one Eagle man has taken his love of beer to a whole new level.

According to the Idaho Statesman, Joe Prin loves beer so much that when he dies he wants his ashes to be placed in one of his favorite beer cans and then thrown off a cliff! Not the way I want to go out, but to each his own!

Inside Joe's garage beer cans are stacked from floor to ceiling. Even more impressive, Joe can tell you the story behind each can! No surprise, the collection is meticulously organized.

Joe has been collecting beer cans since before he could even drink, just 15 years old.

Joe says he has more room for his collection to grow and if he finds a new can he just has to buy it. He's got a digital record on his phone that lets him know if he already owns it.

Joe will be showing off a small part of his beer can collection at the Payette Brewing Company tomorrow from 2 to 6 p.m.
