He was just 14-years-old when he committed the crime, but he stole the life of a man who risked and lost everything to serve his community. 24-years-later should this man be set free?

James Bobby Lee Moore was sentenced to up to life in prison for the murder of 29-year-old New Plymouth Police Officer Ronald Wade Feldner back in 1994.

Today a parole hearing will determine if Moore will be released from prison at the age of 38.

Dozens of protestors have taken a stand at the Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna to show they don't want this murderer to be released from jail according to idahonews.com.

Officers are standing by, supporting the Feldner family, but it will be a judges decision as to what happens.

We'll keep you posted as soon as we hear of an official decision being made.

In the meantime, tell us what your thoughts are?

Should this man be set free early because he was just a teenager at the time of the crime or should he remain behind bars for taking the life of a young police officer?
