Man Up Crusade For Domestic Violence Awareness

This morning we spoke with Canyon County Sheriff Donahue as the Canyon County Fair has teamed up with the Man Up Crusade to host the first annual “Purple Up For The Man Up Crusade Day” at the Fair to raise awareness of domestic violence in our community.  Purple Up Day will be this Friday and you are encouraged to help bring awareness to prevention of domestic violence by wearing your purple.Discounted general admission tickets will be offered to the first 500 people who come dressed in purple that day.  Purple is the color that families of domestic violence victims have adopted to remember and honor their loved ones who have lost their lives at the hands of the person the once loved and trusted.
