Man Trying to Lure Children with Candy in Meridian

He used the old school tactic of "hey little girl, do you want some candy?" Here's what you need to know to keep your kids safe.

It happened about 5 o'clock last night at NW 11th Avenue and West Woodbury Drive.

A 9-year-old little girl says a black man wearing a mask covering his eyes, with a dragon tattoo on his upper left arm, a nose ring, and "odd-looking front teeth" asked her if she wanted some candy?

When she turned him down he grabbed her by the wrist. Luckily the little girl was able to pull away and run to safety.

According to KTVB the man was possibly driving a black truck with a silhouette sticker of a cat in the rear window.

This man is still out there, so it is very possible that there are other victims. If you know anything or see anything, please contact the Meridian police. It's crucial to keep our kids safe.
