You don't want this guy showing up on your doorstep! It's one of those things that you think never happens here in our safe little Treasure Valley, but it did and here's what you need to know to keep yourself safe.

The crime spree started Sunday night. Boise police were called at about 11:20 p.m. to a business on Franklin and Curtis. There they found an injured man with a terrifying story.

He says he heard a knock at his door and when he opened it 28-year-old Terry Plew and a 17-year-old were standing there. They asked for someone who does not live at the home and then hit him in the face with a large piece of wood or some similar object.

According to KTVB, the blow knocked the man out and when he finally woke-up the two men were rummaging through his house. Luckily, he was able to escape and called 911.

Cops then received another call about someone breaking into cars about a mile away and police were able to connect Terry Plew and the 17-year-old to the home invasion and burglaries.

Plew was booked into the Ada County jail on charges of robbery, drug possession, and three felony burglary counts. The 17-year-old has been taken to juvenile detention and is facing a felony robbery charge.

If you feel like you may have been a victim of these crimes, or if you have any other information please contact police.
