Man Falls at Shoshone Falls

He fell over 50 feet down the falls! How did it happen and will he be ok?

35 year old Jessie Manning has suffered serious injuries, multiple broken bones, and is in the hospital. His condition is currently unknown and it's unclear what caused him to fall from an overlook area at the upper part of the cliff surrounding the falls.

According to KTVB, an ambulance landed nearby, they were able to rescue Jessie, and he was flown to St. Luke's Hospital in Boise quickly after the fall.

Let this very unfortunate event serve as a warning if you plan to visit the falls. Shoshone Falls has become popular over the last few weeks with the surge in water making the falls particularly spectacular, but stay away from the edge!
