Man Attempts To Run Over Nampa Officer – Shots Fired

This guy went completely off the reservation.  I get it.  You get into an argument with your girlfriend, someone tries to intervene, and that's the last thing you want to deal with.  Especially when that someone has a uniform and a badge on.

Late last night 23-year-old Jacob M. Brent was approached after several people called in about a possible domestic dispute on North Liberty Drive near Sunny Lane in Nampa.  Instead of Brent settling down, talking it out, and reacting in any kind of a rational matter he did the exact opposite.  He jumped into his car, screeched out of there and drove like some kind of rampaging maniac through the city of Nampa.  When cops finally caught up to him again he tried to run one of them that was on foot over.  That officer shot multiple shots at Brent hitting his vehicle.  Then Brent attempted to ram another officer that was in a vehicle.

At the end of it, I think you know where this is all going.  Brent left a wake of destruction in his path, finally had to jump out and make a run for it and that's when officers apprehended him.  Here's a picture of Brent.
