So far two structures have burned in a fast moving wildfire close to Hilltop Station on Idaho 21.

As of now, we do not know if the structures burned were homes or some other kind of buildings.  The fire started just after 1 p.m. today.  It's moving west and burning along the highway which is temporarily closed.  The Bureau of Land Management Fire Crews are battling the flames with help from Boise and Eagle fire departments along with the Boise National Forest.  Several aircraft are also attacking the fire from above.

The fire is unfortunately spreading quickly because of the windy, hot, dry conditions.  Highway 21 is shut down between Lucky Peak Dam Rd to the south and High Bridge to the north.  Traffic control is being handled by the Ada County Sheriff Department.
