This World-Class gondola ride runs year round and beats out places like The Alps, or a trip to Vail.  And it's right here in Idaho.

Kellogg, Idaho has a rich history of mining, logging, and intercontinental railroads.  There's a majestic beauty to this 2,600 square miles of God's country that can all be seen by the World's Longest Gondola.

The Gondola starts at the base of Silver Mountain in downtown Kellogg.  It runs all the way to the top of the mountain and at 3.1 miles... it's the longest on earth.  You'll travel over 2,400 feet up the mountain, dangling above the ground, taking in breathtaking views.  And the great thing is... it's open all year.

Rides are anywhere from $14 - $18 and last around 20 minutes.  There's an option for an off-the-chart Huckleberry Ribs meal at the end of the ride.  I'd do it if I were you.  :)
