Boise teenagers are doing their part to help women in the Treasure Valley.

When Brett Herrick, Catherine Dillon  and Avery Elsberry found out that feminine hygiene products weren't covered by food stamps, they decided to help those women who otherwise can't afford them.

According to KTVB, the high school seniors have come up with the idea of 'Menstruation Stations'. The idea is to have drop-off locations around the Treasure Valley where you can donate feminine hygiene products like pads and tampons.

These donations will then get distributed to women who need them. Right now you can drop off items at LunchboxWax salon in downtown Boise - that's also where you can go if you're interested in starting a station of your own.
