They saw people in need and did something to help.

I love me some feel-good stories. And this is one of them. A group of local girl scouts are helping those in need in the Treasure Valley by assembling kits for the homeless community.

The group of 6 and 7-year-olds were featured on KTVB's 'Seven's Hero' segment, and it's very well deserved.

Thanks to donations from friends and family the girls were able to create 24 hygiene kits that include: chap stick, water, wet wipes, socks, Band-Aids, toothbrush and toothpaste.

These will be distributed to guests at Interfaith Sanctuary.

Kudos to you, scouts!!
