We're among the most affordable places to live in the country! Here's why.

msn.com just released a study of the states where people are most likely to live paycheck to paycheck, and the states where living is the most affordable. Idaho ranked 5th in the country for the most affordable lifestyle.

The study looked at the cost of housing, food, health care, utilities, and transportation.

Here in Idaho we spend about $172 on food per $2055 paycheck. We spend 22% of our income on housing, 20% on transportation, 7% on utilities, and 5% on healthcare.

Minnesota was ranked the #1 most affordable state in the country. People earn an average household income of $67,244 and only spend 21% on housing. By comparison, Hawaii is the most expensive state to live in. The average income is     $71, 223 and after basic expenses, they only have 7% of their paychecks left over.

Way to go Idaho!!
