Ever have one of those days where everything you do seems to be wrong?  Yeah. Me too.  Only mine seem to come in packages of weeks and often months at a time. This weekend was no exception. The past Sunday (July 20th) I was supposed to fly to Portland for a Celebration of Life for my former co-host.  I say supposed to fly out because the celebration was planned earlier this week.  Me being me, quickly booked a plane ticket and rented a car where I would fly from Boise to Portland at 10am and then leave Portland at 7p.  Long day but easy enough.  As I was getting ready for the airport I looked at the date on my phone.  July 20th.  My inner dialogue included these two questions:  How come my phone hasn't updated?  How does it not know it's August 3rd?

You guessed it.  I booked my very quick trip for two weeks from when I was supposed to be there.  Lost my rental car money but the airline was very kind with my apparent lapse in time. And let me know it happens more frequently then you would guess.

This whole thing was made easier because on Friday I ordered a book I had been wanting to read from Amazon.  I was very excited to see my Amazon Prime membership paying off when my Amazon package was sitting on my doorstep just in time for my flight.  When I opened the package I had order not one, not two but three copies of the same book.  The book? Let's Pretend This Never Happened Yeah.  Let's.
