Let’s Go To Lagoon!
Load up the family and head to Lagoon! It's one of the west's best amusement parks and it's about a half-day away from The Treasure Valley!
Lagoon is just north of Salt Lake City in the Utah town of Farmington. It's located right along Interstate 15 and it's a fairly easy drive from Boise.
Believe it or not, the park actually started operation in 1886 on the shores of the Great Salt Lake. It was moved to it's current location in 1899 and was given the name "Lagoon" to reflect the location next to a nine acre pond.
Today, it's one of the largest amusement parks in the mountain west. It boasts 10 different roller-coasters and a variety of other fun rides, a water park, entertainment and more!
