Jason Aldean Announces New Album ‘Old Boots, New Dirt’
Old Boots, New Dirt hits shelves Oct. 7th!
Jason Aldean announced the release of his next album over the weekend. He made the announcement on Buzzfeed.
Jason that he will release his sixth studio album, Old Boots, New Dirt, on October 7 via Broken Bow Records. He recorded the 15 new tracks over the course of a year, working alongside country radio acts and expats like Taylor Swift, Eric Church, and Luke Bryan. Aldean says he hopes to push country music by including a bit of R&B, Southern rock, pop, and classic Nashville.
He says, "That title and that song, ‘Old Boots, New Dirt,’ is about starting with a clean slate. I’m the same dude, but we’re gonna start over and hit some uncharted territory here.”
