Is Blake Shelton Really the Sexiest Man Alive?

There's no doubt that Blake Shelton is one attractive king of country.

But of all the men on earth, is Blake truly the sexiest of them all?

People Magazine has named Blake Shelton, country superstar and The Voice coach, as 2017's "Sexiest Man Alive." He's in good company too. Past honorees include:

A bunch of handsome gents indeed, that's not really up for debate. However, when you consider how many handsome gents are in the limelight in 2017, is Blake really the cream of the crop? Here's some other options this writer thinks could've taken the top spot:

Jason Momoa

It takes a certain kind of male specimen to make Aquaman, quite arguably the dorkiest superhero of all time, look cool. Momoa does just that in this year's Justice League movie. Dude has muscles on his muscles.

No one doesn't like Sam Hunt. He's an impeccable songwriter, challenger to stereotypical country fashion choices, and he can croon with the best of them. Also, he could hide at least $40 in singles in his beard, which is always a plus.

Joe Keery

In season 1 of Stranger Things, Joe Keery's character Steve was a douche. Nobody liked Steve. Season 2 showed us just how lovable Steve could be as a good guy, and it's arguably the highlight of the entire season. If nothing else, his hair should automatically put him in the running for "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2018. Fight me.

Yeah yeah. He was already crowned once, but he wasn't Deadpool then! If life was truly fair, Reynolds would be the "Sexiest Man Alive" every year.

You can act like you don't have to go change your pants every time "What Ifs" plays, but you'd only be lying to yourself. I'd be very surprised if Kane Brown doesn't take the title in the next two years. This guy is on fire right now.
