Interfaith Sanctuary to Open Daytime Family Program

The homeless community in the Boise area will now have a new daytime resource for their families.

According to KTVB, beginning on November 6, Interfaith Sanctuary in Boise will now be providing families in the area a safe place to be during the day. Their new family program will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Guests of Interfaith Sanctuary:

"will receive early education programs for their kids, parenting classes, case management support, nutritious snacks and scheduled naptimes. Families who have school age kids will be offered after-school programs, nutritious snacks and case management."

The pilot program is getting amazing support from the community too. Port of Subs has made this their "beneficiary for this year’s holiday gift card campaign. Funding from the promotion, which kicks off mid-November, will go to support nutrition for the families participating in this new early education and supportive services daytime programming."
