Idaho’s 10 Digit Dialing Starts Tomorrow

We become a two area code state here in Idaho starting tomorrow which means everyone has to dial the full 10 digits when calling.

We're all used to not having to punch in the 208 before sending out a call but now that the population has grown so much here in our beautiful Treasure Valley, there's a new 986 area code going out.

The 986 area codes will start being assigned at the beginning of September but tomorrow is when the mandatory 10 digit dial out when calling someone goes into effect.  So don't freak out when you're phone's not working, or you think it's not working.  It works.  Just make sure to go through your contacts and add the 208 in front of all your local phone numbers.
