Idaho Woman Plows into Store and Dies

Who knows what went wrong here, but this woman's life ended with her driving her vehicle into a store in McCall. 

It happened just before 11 o'clock last night along I-55. 61-year-old Cherie Crandall was behind the wheel headed northbound when she drifted into the southbound lane near Lenora Street. Cherie then drove up onto the sidewalk and slammed into The McCall Store.

She was rushed to St. Luke's McCall but succumbed to her injuries. She was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident according to KTVB.

No one was inside The McCall store at the time of the crash because it was closed, so, fortunately, no one else was hurt.

Investigators are still looking into what factors may have played a role in this tragic accident. No one knows yet if she suffered a medical emergency, fell asleep, or was distracted. Maybe none of those factors were involved, but I'm sure Cherie's family and friends will want answers.
