Hunting in Idaho may move to a whole new level here this fall.  According to Idaho News, there are about 700 grizzly bears that live in Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding areas which include Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.

Montana will allow a total of 24 grizzly bears to be hunted this year.  Idaho hasn't thrown out a number yet as to how many or what exactly the rules would be but the Idaho Fish and Game is currently taking any and all comments regarding this issue.

Lawsuits have already been submitted by different wildlife activists and Native Americans saying these animals should be protected and no hunting is necessary or should be permitted.  They're trying to restore the Endangered Species Act which protects the bears from any type of hunts like these.  We'll keep you posted on what the final verdict is when that information is available.
