Idaho Mom Who Shaved Kids Heads for Eating Ice Cream Sentenced

26-year-old Priscilla Zapata was sentenced to 90 days in jail for beating her three kids and shaving their heads as punishment for them eating ice cream. Has justice been served in this case?

According to court documents, Zapata is accused of flipping out on her three children ages 3 to 9. She allegedly beat her kids with a belt, bit one of her daughters, shoved their face into ice cream and shaved their heads.

The children are currently under the care of family members under the supervision of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Zapata is taking parenting classes and undergoing therapy to become a better parent.

As part of her sentence, Priscilla will also serve four years of felony probation.

All I can say is I truly hope she gets the treatment that she needs to control her anger and perhaps after some time she can gain the right skills and enter her kids lives again.
