Apparently the man was attempting to vote in both Idaho and Washington states.

According to The Idaho Statesman, The Asotin County (WA) Prosecutor is investigating "two cases of voter fraud that took place in the November 8 general election. "

According to Nez Perce County Auditor, Patty Weeks, the Idaho man (whose name has not been released) had recently moved from Washington, but "returned a mail-in ballot to Asotin County AND later voted at a polling site in Lapwai"

Because the polling place was located on the Nez Perce Indian reservation, the FBI is also looking into the case.
